Since the olden times, the Covens have gathered to unite in power, and learn about the spiritual mysteries of existence, while working to enchant the world with a magic spell. At the Crossroad Coven, we practice and share the ancient rituals and arts of the soul, in a timeless rebirth of the western occult mysteries.
In this Circle, we will be purifying and invoking as usual. For our magical focus, we will be discussing and practicing using freedom and free will in magic and life. To work our freedom magic, we will be learning how to use dance for magic. Utilizing Japanese Butoh methods, we will reclaim the core of the sense of liberating freedom through a slow, relaxed, free expression method of movement. Dance allows us to embody and channel our intentions freely within the Temple space. We look forward to celebrating the passing tides and casting our spells with you.
Austin Shippey, known by his Craft name Lord Matria (as in Maitreya the Future Buddha, and matriarchy of feminism) teaches the spiritual arts to people of all approaches and paths, bringing the many back to the common core of spirit and magic, that is our connection to divinity, and our dreaming into reality a better tomorrow. Drawing on the ceremonial magic of British Traditional Witchcraft, and folk magic from around the world, Matria teaches a modern collective that magic is real.
