Join your local True Texas Project group for a timely, double-header presentation!We will be hearing from Scott London, a former Sheriff, and Constitutional speaker, about the relationship between law enforcement, citizens, and constitutional rights. Sometimes we need a refresher on what is expected of us as citizens and what is allowed for law enforcement as our "public servants". This presentation examines where liberty, lawful authority, and public trust intersect in real-world decisions. Drawing from executive leadership, constitutional teaching, police instruction and field-tested experience, Scott London offers practical lessons on restraint, discretion, and the meaning of an officer's oath.
We are also eager to hear from Dave Eagle, county commissioner for precinct 4. We will learn about a citizen's role in government, forming the GOP platform planks, and what it means to follow through and stay loyal to those principles. This comes just ahead of our GOP state convention, and will be very important information for those of us who are interested in being involved in the platform plank process.
