Cross Stitch Workshop: Create a Custom Journal | St Albans

Create a beautiful cross stitched journal using your own custom design, inspired by classic cross stitch patterns.
About this Event

During this workshop your host Sanne will introduce you to the history of cross stitch and share a wide range of inspiration for your design. You can either use one of the existing designs (including letters, flowers and animals) or draft your own. After that you’ll learn the basics of cross stitch as you customise the cover of your journal.

Great as a personalised gift or to use as an insert for a leather notebook cover.

Extra information:

• Simple designs can be finished during the workshop, more elaborate designs might require you to finish them at home.
• Notebooks used will be Moleskin Cahier Journal. You can pick from the 9x14cm (64 pages) or 13x21cm size (80 pages), black or red, lined or blank.
• No previous cross stitch or other crafting experience needed. All supplies will be provided.
• Accessibility: the event space is up a flight of stairs (there is unfortunately no elevator available). If you have any other questions, please send me a message.
• I usually capture little bits of the event with some photos and video clips. If you'd prefer not have your face featured, please let me know on the day.
