🌱 Whanganui Kai Hub Crop Swap 🌱Crop swap is a community gathering where people share and exchange homegrown or homemade produce, helping reduce waste, build connections, and keep surplus kai circulating locally - come join us!
📅 Date & Time:
- Monthly on the 2nd Saturday for 2026
- Arrive at 10.30am - for karakia, a cup of tea and to put your items down on the table and briefing
- Swapping starts 11:00am sharp
- Please arrive on time (10.45am at the latest!) – this ensures everyone can participate in the swapping circle.
💛 Bring:
- Gold coin (to cover costs)
- Something/s to swap from/for the kitchen or garden . For example : excess/surplus fruit & veggies, preserves, jams, jars, baking, homemade items, eggs, plants, seeds, cuttings etc!
(But if you don't have anything you are welcome to come anyway!)
Swap with others and celebrate sharing: Toha atu, toha mai – I share with you, you share with me!
