The love of my life and I are going to once again explore the crockers at antigo
(crusher and I)
Dates 05/24/2024- 05/28/2024 I just want to put it out there as an “unorganized” get together of like minded friends and friends of friends, In other words this is not a guided tour, or a club sanctioned event, I am not the tour guide. And I am not responsible for you, or yours.
I can lead trail rides, or am happier if we share that duty. I have been there a handful of times times. I find something new each time I go. And I think its one of the best areas in Wisconsin, with a little bit for everyone, without being super technical.

My lodging
Willy’s road house, At the campground in the heart of the city of Antigo, rates are cheap as hell, like 15 per night with electric, 25 per night full hookup, we did this trip 2 years in a row on Memorial day weekend and the campground filled up, I don't know how close to the actual date they filled, but there isn't much else around for camping, so if you are thinking about it, Id make the res early, and cancel later if you have to. It feels like there is a group that goes that are just camping, and they already have a lot of the full hookups, I have reserved site 03

Itinerary?
I plan on leaving the Milwaukee area Friday May 23th Setting up camp, getting a meal, and being ready to wheel first thing Saturday.
I plan on 3 days of wheeling, (Sat, Sunday,Monday), and heading home on Tuesday the 27th I know there are hotels in the area, the few times I stayed in hotels before I got the road house I stayed in the super 8 a few times and it was adequate, the last time was at the holiday Inn and I thought it was well worth the extra money. please do your own due diligence if that is how you prefer to travel. I have no idea how many people that will end up wanting to go, and all are welcome. I would hope if we have a large response that we split into smaller group sizes, of no more than 8 rigs at the most. I don’t want the stress of planning every detail, or who can go, or if they are a member of this or that.
Food,
I usually hit restaurants for supper each night, but alternate breakfast between eating at camp, or going out, I prefer to just take something with for lunch and eat trail side.. But you can certainly do things your own way.
Equipment,
I would anticipate this trip to be just fine on a stock rig, Crusher will be going. And overdressed.
Minimum equipment required
You should have at minimum front and rear recovery points, your own straps, spare tire, jack, and fire extinguisher, and a good attitude with a desire to have fun. I have a decent amount of recovery gear, and experience to help if you need it, but best you have your own.
