Come on down to 3 Sisters Greenhouse to learn how to crochet dishcloths with Rose!Rose is the owner of her handmade business butterflyrose3333, officially started in 2020. She makes clothing and clothing accessories, home decor, jewelry, and toys.
Rose learned how to crochet as a child from her mother. She has always enjoyed crochet as well as other arts and crafts from sewing, beadwork, and weaving, to drawing, painting, photography, and music. She believes that the process of creating art, crafts, and music are good for mental health and she uses each artistic practice to inspire self-love.
Rose enjoys crocheting and art because each project presents an opportunity for self-growth. When you embrace that opportunity you are not only creating an object that is practical and beautiful, you are embracing your ability to develop a skill as well as to improve self-confidence. She's excited to share this perspective of crocheting with everyone who comes to class!
In this class, Rose will be teaching the waffle stitch. To create the waffle stitch the stitches used are: chain, double crochet, front post double crochet, and slip stitch. This is an intermediate project. Leave class with finished project or partially finished project (and yarn and hook to complete at home).
