Crochet Improvers Class: Granny Squares

Ready to take your crochet further? This improvers’ class is designed for anyone who’s got the basic stitches under their belt – see our beginner’s class if you’re not quite there yet – and wants to tackle something more ambitious.

Meet the granny square. One of crochet’s most iconic and versatile techniques, granny squares are the building block for everything from cosy blankets and cushion covers to garments and homewares.

Deceptively simple to learn, endlessly creative in practice and, once you’ve mastered them, you’ll wonder what took you so long to try making them!

What to expect

• A small group – you get proper individual attention from your expert teacher
• Step-by-step guidance through granny square construction, with time to practise and ask questions
• All materials provided — everything you need is included in the class price
• A crochet hook to take home and keep
