Crochet Foundations: From First Stitch to Finished Project

6-Week Beginner Crochet Course

Ever wanted to learn how to crochet but didn’t know where to start?

Join me for a 6-week, hands-on crochet course designed to take you from the very beginning to confidently creating your own crochet projects.

This is a relaxed, beginner-friendly space where we’ll learn together, practice at our own pace, troubleshoot mistakes, and build our skills week by week.

By the end of the course, you’ll have the foundational skills needed to continue crocheting independently and complete a larger final project using the techniques you’ve learned throughout the course.

What You’ll Learn

Over the 6 weeks, we’ll cover:

How to choose and work with yarn and crochet hooks

How to hold your hook and yarn comfortably

Slip knots and foundation chains

Single crochet

Half double crochet

Double crochet

Increasing and decreasing

Turning and working in rows

Working in the round

Counting stitches and maintaining stitch consistency

Understanding basic crochet terminology and abbreviations

How to read beginner-friendly crochet patterns

Joining and finishing techniques

Weaving in ends

Troubleshooting common beginner mistakes

Building confidence with independent crocheting

And, of course, we’ll put those skills to work through hands-on projects along the way.

🧶 The Final Project

Throughout the course, each skill will build toward a larger final crochet project.

You’ll use the techniques you’ve learned to create a finished piece that you can take home, use, wear, or proudly say:

“I MADE THIS.” ✨

Final project details and materials will be provided during the course.
