Crochet Class: How to Continuously Crochet Granny Squares Together
*Must reserve your spot prior to class. Classes without reserved students will be canceled.
If you've ever had a blanket stay in your WIP bin because you were intimidated by hand sewing granny squares together, this is the perfect class for you! In this class, you’ll learn how to continuously crochet granny squares together so there is only 2 ends to weave in and no hand sewing involved. As we explore the basics of this crochet technique, in the end, you’ll be able to apply it to a variety of projects such as a washcloth, table runner, blanket and shawl. The possibilities are endless!
Level: Easy, but not beginner friendly. Must be comfortable working a chain and single crochet stitches.
Supplies that you need: Bring 4 or 9 crocheted squares that are equal to each other in the number of stitches, a respective yarn to join your squares with and a respective sized crochet hook. I will provide a written guide for the join as you go technique.
Note: I have no done this technique with knitted squares, but I am confident it could also work, since the edges are finished with similar V shapes.
