This crochet course has been designed for beginners. It focuses on the Granny Square and at least 2 items of crochet will be produced: a little pouch and a mug warmer. The Granny square is very versatile and can then be used to create so many different things. The course is run in a very small group, with only 6 persons max. All materials are provided. Several color of yarns will be available. Tea, coffee and handmade cake are included.
This workshop will run over 3-weeks to allow the students to work in between the workshops. There will be 3 sessions of 2-hours.
You will learn the following techniques:
* Holding a hook
* Magic ring
* Treble stitch and slip stitch
* Changing color
* Making a Granny Square
* Working in rounds
* Creating handles
* Weaving in ends
The workshop will take place on Saturdays 09/11/24, 16/11/24 and 30/11/24 from 3pm to 5pm at SLS Clinic.
