Crochet an Upcycled T-Shirt Bag Workshop
About this Event
Turn an old T-shirt into something new, useful and completely unique.
Join Reinvntd CIC and Medicine Bakery for a relaxed three-hour crochet workshop where you will transform reclaimed T-shirt yarn into your own colourful, handmade bag to take home.
Led by our workshop facilitator, the session will guide you through the crochet techniques needed to construct and finish your bag. You will choose from a selection of colourful yarns made from pre-loved T-shirts, combining creativity with a practical approach to textile reuse.
All materials and equipment will be provided.
Your ticket also includes a hot drink and a freshly baked pastry from Medicine Bakery, giving you the opportunity to settle in, get creative and enjoy a few mindful hours of making, before taking your new upcycled bag home with you.
This is a small, welcoming group workshop designed for participants with some basic crochet experience. It is not suitable for complete beginners, but you do not need to be an advanced crocheter.

Info: Learn about T-shirt yarn, textile waste and how pre-loved clothing can be transformed into new materials. Timings may be adjusted slightly to suit the pace of the group.

Info: Continue crocheting the main body of your bag with demonstrations and individual guidance from Sumayyah.
