The official release show of Fire Sign, the 7th record from Canadian singer-songwriter Crissi Cochrane. In five diverse songs rooted in indie pop, soul, and jazz, Crissi explores the passion and intensity of her Aries energy: longing for connection, struggling to survive a harsh environment, holding tension, surrendering to the power of love, and an outpouring of devotion. She declares the EP to be her "most art-forward record yet", with production choices enhancing the visceral experience of the storytelling. Nature sounds, whisper vocals, haunting harmonies, drums tuned low, a string quartet, and voice-quaking emotion together create a powerful portrait of stepping into one's own energy.
Vinyl editions of the EP will be available! The record on cream-coloured vinyl includes three bonus tracks: "Can We Go Back", "Why", and "Take This Waltz (Live)". Vinyl will be on sale for $30 each at the show.
