Invitation to the CHAT-YOUTH Final Conference
We are pleased to invite you to the one-day final conference of the CHAT-YOUTH Project,
taking place in Budapest, Hungary, on the 30th of October, 2025 towards the conclusion of
our ambitious three-year work.
The conference will provide an in-depth look at online counselling chat services, exploring
the motivations and aims of our project, the challenges we encountered, the open questions that remain, and possible ways forward.
Morning presentations will highlight:
• The different types of service provision available for people seeking help with psychological difficulties.
• Key debates around the evaluation and monitoring of psychological interventions including online chat-based services.
• The main achievements of the CHAT-YOUTH project, presented by the project
leader.
In the afternoon, participants will join parallel workshops to explore these achievements in
greater detail. The day will conclude with a keynote presentation from a representative of
Child Helpline International, offering a broader perspective and helping us to envision the
next steps for the field.
The conference is designed to be highly interactive, encouraging dialogue, exchange, and
future collaboration between project partners and service providers who have already contributed greatly to our shared work.
The morning session will also be available in a hybrid format. Registered online participants
will receive the link to join.
