Take a walk back in time to reconstruct what the landscape was like here during the Mississippian Period… on this 2-hour hike to a crinoid fossil bed, we’ll examine what fossils can tell us about the past and how they form – and why there are so many at this particular location. NO COLLECTING PERMITTED. 2 hours. Total distance covered is about 2 miles with a few significant hills.
