THE CULT OF AGFA TRAILER SHOW
There's nothing dreamier than the moment when the lights go down and the show begins. Now imagine capturing that feeling for 77 minutes of concentrated bliss. Exploding from the vaults of the American Genre Film Archive (AGFA), THE CULT OF AGFA TRAILER SHOW is the surreal sequel to THE AGFA HORROR TRAILER SHOW. Meticulously constructed by the mad ghouls at AGFA to resemble an otherworldly night at a mall multiplex, this compilation features rare trailers, commercials, and ephemera—all of which were preserved and scanned exclusively for this project.
CRIMINALLY INSANE
A D.I.Y. proto-slasher from the 1970s horror underground that feels like a lost collaboration between John Waters and Tobe Hooper. The film follows Ethel Jankowski (Priscilla Alden), a woman who struggles with mental health issues and a raging appetite—one that eventually causes her to pick up a meat cleaver and K*ll! Equally campy, artistic, and horrifying, this deranged experience from prolific filmmaker Nick Millard bursts with wild plot twists, regional charm, and gruesome bloodshed. @thebeaconsea
