Cricut 101: Let’s get Crafty!

Whether your Cricut machine is still in the box or you’ve taken it out and tried your first sample project this workshop is for you. We know ow intimidating new equipment and software can be. We don’t want you to waste another day missing out on all of the amazing projects you could be making (and selling with your Cricut machine. This workshop will give you the skills and confidence you need to create your own beautiful projects. You'll learn in a small intimate creative and relaxing environment at the Purses & Proverbs Creative Boutique with others who love to create and have fun.

In this workshop you will learn:

• What types of materials you can use with your Cricut.
• Where to find supplies and designs.
• Learn what types of projects you can make with your Cricut for business or pleasure.
• Learn how to navigate Design Space.
• Learn how to create a project from beginning to end. 

What you will need for the class:

• Your laptop or iPad (Chromebook is not compatible with the Cricut Design Space software)
• Your Cricut and power cord (Cricut Maker Cricut Explore 3 Cricut Explore Air 2 Cricut Joy)
• A 12x12 Standard Cutting Mat (the green one)
• A positive attitude open to learning and growing.

We will provide:

• All of the Materials to complete two projects.
• A relaxing and creative environment perfect for learning connecting and creating. 
• Snacks (we love to munch while crafting)

• Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before the class start time to get set up.
• The class will start promptly at the designated time.
• No alcohol allowed on the premises.
• No pets allowed in the building.

Parking is available in the parking lot on the corner of Park Ave & W. Hendricks Blvd near Cecilia's Salon as well as on the W. Hendricks Blvd side street. The rear parking lot behind the building is for employees only.

Duration: The time allotted for this workshop is 2 hours therefore we ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your booked class to set up and ensure you have enough time to complete your project.

Cancellation/Late Policy: Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your booked class in order to give our customers the best experience possible and ensure our classes are run smoothly. We cannot accept guests into the class who are more than 20 minutes late; this is to ensure that they get the full experience. If you are running late we recommend rescheduling for another time or date. You can reschedule your class at any time during any of our open business hours based upon space availability. No refunds will be issued for late arrivals. Guests can only reschedule for the same class within 30 days of original class date. No refunds are issued for no-show guests.
