We are teaming up with Chicago Street Pub, Grill and Banquets to host our second fundraiser to support Autism Acceptance!
Over the past 3 years we have fully submerged ourselves into everything autism to support our son’s diagnosis. We are constantly learning, our life is ever evolving, and our Crew Man is working as hard as ever to develop a foundation of skills to help him succeed and find his own way!
Our short-term goal is to host a fundraiser to give back to the community that speaks our language. Our long-term goal is to host this event, annually, continuing to support local organizations and programs that help children like Crew. This event was a huge success the last time we hosted, and we are excited to see what this year brings!
We’ve been fortunate enough to be supported by programs like CLTS, Full Circle at the YMCA, Innovative Counseling, MindRight Behavior and Consulting the CP Center.
One thing that we have learned is that our kids on the spectrum benefit greatly from sensory breaks during those long days of work. Our goal is to provide sensory equipment to local, autism focused businesses.
Here are the details on the benefit: We are calling it Crew’s Autism Shootout. It will be held at Chicago Street Pub, Grill and Banquets on April 26th. We will be hosting a double elimination corn hole tournament, bucket raffles, and 50/50 raffle. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from Chicago Street Pub.
Registration will begin at 11:00 am and tournament play will begin at 12:00.
Pre-Registration can be completed through the Scoreholio app.
Venmo Payments can be sent to @CrewsAutismShootout or be paid in cash the day of the event.
Entry fee is $50 per team.
