Kendama (けん玉, “sword and ball”) is a traditional Japanese skill toy consisting of a handle (ken), a pair of cups (sarado), and a ball (tama), all connected by a string.

On Friday and Saturday, April 17–18, 2026, CREWDAMA, Ontario’s only Kendama tournament, returns to The Rope Factory Event Hall for its 5th year.

Participants and guests from across North America will gather to compete, spectate, and take part in a full weekend of games, contests, and community.

Expect vendors, prizes, sponsors, food, music, and more throughout the event.

We are proud to host this tournament in Brantford, the Tournament Capital of Ontario.

CREWDAMA has grown every year, and our events now welcome up to 200 unique attendees from across North America who come together to share their passion for Kendama.

Our community continues to grow, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported this event and helped make it what it is today.

Our goal is simple: to make CREWDAMA 2026 the best one yet and ensure that every guest, participant, vendor, and sponsor feels welcomed, valued, and appreciated.
