Crescendo Kids Year 1: Session One
About this Event
Instructor Ashley Hillman has taught music for 25 years, and currently teaches orchestra for Scottsbluff Schools and WNCC. She is excited to offer a new program called Crescendo Kids.
There are 3 levels currently available for students to enroll in. There are two Year One sessions available. Crescendo Kids is a 5-year program, but students can retake a year if they feel they are not ready to move to the next level.
Each year has 32 lessons, for a total of 16 per semester. First Semester is August 24 through December 7. The second semester is January-May. Each semester is priced to include the rental of a violin and the book, which is $40/year. The book is yours to keep.
Generally, this class is focused on age 3 up to 5th grade.
Crescendo Kids 32-week academic calendar is divided into four 8-week segments. Each 8-week session culminates in a small recital where students receive an award and a special bead to add to their “Crescendo Kids” keychain as a souvenir.
