Am 13. Juli starten wir mit unserem Creepy Crypt Crystal Lake Summer Camp. Ab dann zeigen wir den Sommer über alle Freitag der 13te Filme ab Teil 5.
Es ist zwar kein Freitag, aber zumindest starten wir am 13. Juli mit A New Beginning. Das ist ja ein passender Titel nachdem wir Anfang des Jahres die ersten vier Teile gezeigt haben, starten wir an diesem Datum neu in die Reihe ein. Ja, wir wissen, dass das nicht der beste Teil für Jason Fans ist, aber wir Spoilern das mal nicht für die Leute, die den Film noch nicht gesehen haben. ;-)
Jason wurde endgültig bezwungen! Tommy (John Shepherd), dem dieses kleine Wunder gelang, leidet seitdem unter schrecklichen Psychosen und begibt sich in ärztliche Betreuung. Doch schon nach kurzer Zeit werden die ersten Mordopfer in der Nähe der Klinik gefunden. In einem kleinen Landhaus hat sich eine Gruppe von Jugendlichen eingefunden. Darunter Betreuerin Pam (Melanie Kinnaman), der kleine Reggie (Shavar Ross), die süße Robin (Juliette Cummins) und der aggressive Vinnie (Anthony Barrile), der beim Holzhacken total ausrastet und seinen Mitbewohner Joey (Dominick Brascia) mit seinem Beil erschlägt. Als dann auch noch nachts ein Maskierter sein Unwesen treibt und einen nach dem anderen ermordet, befürchten alle Beteiligten, dass Jason wohl doch noch nicht tot ist und weiter auf Rache sinnt.

On July 13th we start with our Creepy Crypt Crystal Lake Summer Camp. From then on we will be showing all Friday the 13th films from part 5 onwards throughout the summer.
It's not a Friday, but at least we're starting on July 13th with A New Beginning. After showing the first four parts at the beginning of the year, this is a fitting title for a new start to the series. Yes, we know it's not the best part for Jason fans, but we won't spoil it for those who haven't seen the movie yet ;-)
Jason has finally been defeated! Tommy (John Shepherd), who achieved this small miracle, has been suffering from terrible psychoses ever since and seeks medical treatment. But after a short time, the first murder victims are found near the clinic. A group of teenagers have gathered in a small country house. Among them are counselor Pam (Melanie Kinnaman), little Reggie (Shavar Ross), sweet Robin (Juliette Cummins) and aggressive Vinnie (Anthony Barrile), who goes berserk while chopping wood and kills his roommate Joey (Dominick Brascia) with his hatchet. When a masked man goes on the rampage at night and murders one person after another, everyone involved fears that Jason is not dead after all and is still out for revenge.
