Join us for Creepy Conservation: Talking About Tarantulas with Dr. Steve Reichling at the Memphis Botanic Garden. The event runs from 5–8 p.m., and Dr. Reichling’s tarantula talk begins at 6 p.m.
Just in time for Halloween, Dr. Reichling from the Memphis Zoo will guide us through the biology, behaviors, and conservation challenges of tarantulas. With 44 years at the Zoo and multiple species discoveries, he offers an extraordinary look at these misunderstood arachnids.
This program runs alongside the Garden’s Food Truck Garden Party, with a variety of local food trucks, live music by NA the Band, and community vendors throughout the evening.
Free and open to the public. All donations support The Wolf River Conservancy and The Memphis Botanic Garden.
