Join us for our annual Nimishillen Creek LEAP. hosted by The McKinley Presidential Library and Museum and The Nimishillen Creek Watershed Partners which are a voluntary group consisting of Nimishillen Creek stakeholders with the mission "to promote the restoration of the Creek's water quality to fishable, swimmable standards and the protection of the Creek corridor." The Nimishillen Creek Watershed Partners currently meet as a group at least two times per year.
We will be cleaning our waterways along Water works, Monument and Stadium Parks. Registartion at the McKinley Museum will begin at 8:30 am and cleanup will begin at 9am. Lunch will be provided for all participants after the cleanup. Please bring your own waders. Bags, rakes, first aid, and gloves will be provided.
