As we wander the trails, we’ll talk about the unique adaptations that allow these creatures to thrive in the dark and learn how to tune into nightly activity with our own senses. Whether it’s the chirp of an insect, the scurry of unseen feet, or the rustle of wind in the trees, the magic of nighttime creates the perfect backdrop for experiencing nature in a whole new way.
On this hike, you will enjoy the tree-lined paths of Whitney and Thayer Woods in the special transition from sunset to dusk to night, when we will let the stars be our guide.
