Creature Captures - Group Shoot with Exotic Animals in NY

Join us on Saturday, February 28th from 1–4 PM at FD Photo Studio Astoria, NY for a one-of-a-kind Photo Mixer featuring live exotic animals.

This group shoot will feature live insects, small mammals, and reptiles, giving you the chance to create awesome images in a studio environment. Learn about each animal and the best ways to safely hold, pose, and photograph them.

The event will begin with animal introduction and meet-and-greet, including fun facts and basic handling tips.

For just $80 for photographers and $60 for models, you’ll gain access to two photo studios:

• Astoria 9 - Beautiful Brick Corner Studio with Large Windows
• Astoria 10 - Daylight Studio with White and Brick Walls

Studios will be connected by a large doorway, creating one open space for your photo and video shoots.

• A signed event waiver is required for all participants. Entry to the event is not permitted without a completed waiver.

• Live animals are present at this event. All animal interactions must follow instructions provided by the animal handler.
• Animals may only be handled under supervision. Unsafe behavior or failure to follow instructions is not permitted.
• FD Photo Studio and the animal handlers reserve the right to limit or stop animal interaction at any time for safety or animal welfare reasons.
• No guarantees are made regarding specific animals, poses, interactions, or photography outcomes.
• All participants must be 18 years of age or older.

• This is a collaborative group photo mixer. All attendees are expected to share the space respectfully and work cooperatively.
• Models are not provided or guaranteed. Photographers are encouraged to bring their own model or collaborate with other attendees.
• By default, attendees may both photograph and be photographed, unless they choose to opt out. Please respect all personal boundaries at all times.
• Any personal content or model releases are optional and handled directly between participants. FD Photo Studio is not a party to these agreements.
• FD Photo Studio does not manage, enforce, or mediate personal agreements made between attendees.

• Every person entering the studio must have a valid ticket, including models, assistants, or collaborators.
• Attendees must follow all studio rules, posted signage, and staff instructions.
