Being an event/workshop organizer is not easy. Coming up with ideas, searching for places, resources, marketing, pressure of running it, and following up… It can get lonely, at least that’s what we heard on several meetings, workshops, and informal talks. We know many talented people with great ideas, yet sometimes struggle with the challenges of organizing activities for others.
We want to give an impulse for a community of facilitators, event runners, call it what you want, where we support each other. With ideas, knowledge, feedback, information about opportunities, sharing resources, exchanging ideas, maybe collaborating.
This is the first meeting of Creators’ Sphere, where we can talk about exciting and difficult things, see in what ways we can support each other and move as a group, discuss base of locations, resources, and support each other.
Creatosphere is our idea of a tribe that hunts together, celebrates together, and learns from each other. So far we have done the skill-sharing as “Create Your Workshop” series, we want to expand this to supporting each other in brainstorming, designing, coordinating events together!
