Nick brings a collaborative spirit, a passion for mentorship, and a deep curiosity for creative exploration that spans analogue to digital.

Melissa Muganzo (SHE/THEY/SIS) is a powerhouse activist, entertainer, and entrepreneur. Founder of Muganzo Entertainment and owner of Mindy’s Kitchen, Melissa uses her platforms to champion Black brilliance and joy. From magazine covers to billboards, her voice uplifts marginalized communities and drives cultural transformation.

Marcus “Mars” Parker is a beloved Sacramento comedian and producer known for his long-running show WTF Wednesdays and viral videos celebrating Sacramento life. Fresh off his first comedy special I’M A GROWN ASS MAN, Mars brings heart and hilarity to every stage.

Chris Inclenrock is a visionary Creative Director with over 20 years of experience delivering impactful brand experiences across industries. From startups to global icons like Google, Disney, and Microsoft, Chris specializes in turning strategy into standout creative that moves audiences.

Ryan Orcutt is a veteran Creative Director and Head of Design with over two decades of experience crafting unforgettable presentations for global brands and changemakers like Al Gore and Elizabeth Warren. His work merges design with storytelling to elevate ideas into impact.

Sonya Harris is the founder of Sage Strategies and a civic engagement leader who’s helped shape some of California’s most ambitious public outreach campaigns—including Census 2020 and Vaccinate ALL 58. A board leader and strategist, Sonya brings deep insight into cross-sector creativity and community building.

Heather Caswell is Creative Director and Principal at Thomas|Ferrous Design, where she specializes in branding and packaging design—especially in the food world. She’s a founding voice of Creativity+, the precursor to CCA, and a long-time design leader in Sacramento.

Tamara Lawrence is a global Creative Director, strategist, and storyteller who has led teams for top-tier brands like Disney, Uber, and Zillow. Co-founder of Creativity+ and Capital Creative Alliance, Tamara is committed to mentoring the next generation of creative leaders.

Phil Tretheway is an award-winning designer and VP at Position, a branding and web studio. A third-generation Sacramentan, Phil helped launch Metro EDGE, the Emerge Summit, and Creativity+, and now serves as President of the Capital Creative Alliance. He’s also the creative mind behind Spirit Wings—a public art series in downtown Sacramento.

Creativity Speaks is a program designed to celebrate local creatives, offer attendees a source of inspiration from creatives outside their industry, and strengthen Sacramento's creative community. The program manifests as live salon-style events and features traditional and non-traditional creatives to help draw a mixed audience and encourage intermingling between creative industries. Creativity Speaks is dedicated to equitable representation and a celebration of the diversity of creative thought.
