CreativeZen Talks Presents Laura Duksta During 10 Days Of Connection (5/8)

Laura Duksta is a New York Times bestselling author, speaker, and self-proclaimed Ambassador of Love whose work has inspired millions around the world. Her books—including the beloved I Love You More— have sold over one million copies across eight languages and have lived in the hearts of families, classrooms, and communities for over two decades.

Her journey with love began as a child and took a profound turn when I Love You More poured through her as an answer to a prayer. What followed was a path of courage, trust, and saying yes without knowing how—from self-publishing her first book to becoming a sought-after speaker whose message continues to ripple outward.

Through her signature keynote, Y’ALL: YOU Are Limitless Love—inspired by her TEDx talk—and her heart-centered school programs, Laura creates experiences that dissolve the illusion of disconnection and invite people to live, lead, and create from a place of authenticity, connection, and possibility.

She is currently bringing to life The I Love You More TourTM—Celebrating 25 Years of Limitless Love, a national movement and cross-generational tour designed to spark the presence and power of love in hearts, homes, classrooms, and communities across the country.

Laura is also a mentor with the Children’s Alopecia Project and is involved with the National Alopecia Areata Foundation, supporting others on their journey of self-acceptance and confidence. A graduate of the University of Maryland with a degree in Sociology, Laura has also been an avid student and teacher of human potential for decades.

She lives in South Florida, where she can often be found swimming in the ocean, chasing sunrises and sunsets, and reminding the world to Keep Shining!

As part of this month’s gathering, CreativeZen is aligned with 10 Days Of Connection, a South Florida based movement centered on kindness, presence, and meaningful human connection. This is something we intentionally participate in each year because it so deeply reflects the spirit of CreativeZen. Creating space for people to slow down, connect authentically, and be fully present with one another is at the core of what we do, and 10 Days of Connection amplifies that impact on a meaningful level.

In that same spirit, our next Zero Empty Spaces Artist Potluck will take place during 10 Days of Connection at our Gulfstream Park location on Saturday, May 9th, continuing the momentum of bringing artists and community together through shared experience. 📍 The talk will be located inside There is ample free parking available, once you enter through the main entrance at the center of the complex (where there is a roundabout parking overhang with the DCOTA letters above it) you will walk towards the conceirge desk and make a left, once the hallway opens up to the atrium you will make a left and the space will be on your lefthand side)

Doors open on Friday 5/8/2026 at 8:30AM for community connection time and coffee. Talk begins promptly at 9:00AM.

Held on the second Friday morning of each month, these inspiring gatherings feature local voices sharing heartfelt stories of creativity, purpose, and reinvention — all designed to uplift and unite our community.

CreativeZen was born out of a desire for Choose954 to connect, engage, and inspire our local creative community with support from Zero Empty Spaces & The UniteUs Group. We open the doors 30 minutes before the talk starts to mix, meet, and mingle with fellow likeminded members of our community.

Every Creative Zen event includes a complimentary guided meditation before a short inspiring and thought provoking talk during the second Friday morning of the month. All Creative Zen events are free of charge and open to the community, being creative is not required!
