CreativeNL Live tijdens Dutch Design Week 2025 – On A New Crossroad

CreativeNL organiseert woensdag 22 oktober in Natlab in Eindhoven in samenwerking met Dutch Design Foundation het programma ‘On A New Crossroad’, dat laat zien wat Nederlandse ontwerpkracht op dit moment te bieden heeft.

Wat kun je verwachten?
Absolute voorlopers uit de Nederlandse industrie pakken het podium – onder wie de nieuwe CreativeNL Thought Leader Niek Pulles van Nike. Vanuit verschillende invalshoeken wordt met hen belicht hoe de Nederlandse creatieve industrie inspeelt op de grote transities in de wereld. Dit vanuit de onderliggende gedachte dat er vijf typen verandering op Nederland afkomen. Technologische veranderingen (immersieve technologieën, AI), politieke veranderingen (conflict, populisme), economische veranderingen (lees: machtsverschuivingen), klimaatverandering en demografische veranderingen. Wil de Nederlandse (creatieve) industrie zich handhaven of groeien, dan moet ze hier een lenig, slim en sterk antwoord op hebben.

CreativeNL is organizing the program ‘On A New Crossroad’ on Wednesday, October 22, at Natlab in Eindhoven, in collaboration with Dutch Design Foundation. The program highlights what Dutch design power has to offer at this very moment.

What to expect
Absolute frontrunners from the Dutch industry will take the stage – among them the new CreativeNL Thought Leader, Niek Pulles of Nike. From multiple perspectives, we will explore with them how the Dutch creative industry responds to the major transitions shaping the world. This is based on the underlying idea that five types of change are approaching the Netherlands: technological changes (immersive technologies, AI), political changes (conflict, populism), economic changes (i.e., shifts in power), climate change, and demographic changes. If the Dutch (creative) industry wants to maintain its position or grow, it must respond to these challenges with agility, intelligence, and strength.
