Emmett Russell is a husband and father of three, originally from Iowa, who relocated to Columbia 15 years ago. With a background in metal fabrication and home remodeling, he has always nurtured a deep artistic passion. His move to Columbia was driven by the city's Autism resources for his youngest child and the medical care available, as both of his younger children required kidney transplants. Arriving in Columbia without any connections, he started a home improvement business, which he has grown into a 4,000 square foot shop equipped with numerous tools to support his creative endeavors. His business, Russellbilt, specializes in building custom projects, leveraging his creativity, artistic eye, and fabrication and woodworking skills to create beautiful, unique pieces for his clients. He built his business with a focus on his children's needs, while also harnessing his creative abilities to make beauty for his clients.

September's theme is REFLECTION. Just like an echo is a reflection of sound… and how a camera lens focuses reflected light to form a photograph… our subconscious reflects on our experiences to form our beliefs.
Reflection turns our traumas and triumphs into lessons. It’s how we can create a vision for a brighter future.
Where is it happening?
