Creative Writing Workshop
Short Stories and Poetry
In 2026 we will be digging into short story writing and how to create your own poetry collection. We aim for one workshop every month and this will be the first! The workshops are free, just bring your own stuff to write on.
How to write a great short story or how to create a marvelous anthology of poems?
The choice is yours. Both projects will run alongside each other throughout the year, so whether your mind runs to poetry, fiction or both, these workshops are for you.
Along the way we will also be looking at illustration, sketching and other types of artwork that can boost your glorious writing, either as part of the finished product or as a helpful part of your work process.
The workshops are hosted by Mia Irina Due, a writer and illustrator who frequently makes a nuisance of herself at similar events.
So, pack your laptop, your sketchbook, your paper and pens and come join us at Posthuset and let's get into all the splendid words and ideas that are scuttling about in the corners of our minds.
