A two-day course to explore creative writing as one means of responding to the serious challenges of climate change, inequality and cultural conflicts that define our contemporary context.
These often appear overwhelming and are a source of grief, anxiety and spiritual discomfort for many. Using writing exercises, mini-lectures and group discussions we will attempt to ‘stay with the trouble’ and yet remain open and creative within it.
The course may be of particular relevance to those who lead worship, are seeking means to sustain their faith and justice commitments, or who wish to explore creative writing as a means of spiritual reflection.
