Creative Writing & Storytelling (Ages 11-15)

Unleash your imagination and learn the art of storytelling in this fun, interactive creative writing summer camp! You explore the building blocks of great stories—descriptive language, character development, point of view, narrative styles, and dialogue—through games, writing prompts, and activities. Each session combines creative exercises with practical lessons to help you craft vivid, engaging stories. By the end of the camp, you have a collection of original pieces and the confidence to keep writing long after class ends. Perfect for aspiring authors and creative thinkers!

Camps run half days, with the option to stack a morning and afternoon camp for a full day. Students who stay all day can bring a sack lunch and drink and stay supervised by EICC staff during the lunch hour. Families can also apply for a scholarship to help cover camp costs.
