Creative Women Stockport Social

Calling all creative women in Stockport! Building on the success of the Creative Women sessions, hosted by Sally McFerran, and held at Stockroom last year, we are inviting Stockport's creative women to come together for a free, fun, relaxed social get-together on:

Wednesday 4th February from 5.30 to 7pm at UnderBanks Gallery, 8 Mealhouse Brow, SK1 1JP.

You'll also have the opportunity to have a go at DJing, with DJ Sandra D, plus to meet the Gallery owner, Ann-Marie Fowler.

We have some ideas about what we can do next to support creative women in Stockport, but we'd really like to hear your thoughts too. And primarily we just want to create a space for us all to connect and hang out together ❤️ If you attended the sessions last year you will know what power there is in coming together, hearing each other's stories and bigging up the importance of our creative adventures. Hope to see you there!

P.S. if you're wondering if you 'qualify', this is for anyone who lives or works in Stockport, who identifies as a woman and who engages in (or dreams of engaging in) any kind of creative practice - whether that's professionally or unpaid, full-time or 10 mins every blue moon, trained, self-taught etc etc. If you're interested, come along 🙂
