CREATIVE MINDS: Sustainable Wellbeing for Creative Work
Advertisement
CREATIVE MINDS is an immersive, interactive workshop designed to help creatives build a more sustainable relationship with their work, their wellbeing and themselves.
Grounded in psychology and lived creative experience, the workshop blends reflective exercises, evidence-based tools and practical strategies to help participants strengthen self-awareness, reconnect with purpose and create conditions that support long-term creative practice.
Participants explore the myths and realities of creativity, clarify their values and creative identity, and develop practical approaches to goal-setting, recovery, focus and creative renewal. Sessions also examine the environmental, psychological and behavioural conditions that support divergent thinking, play, flow and sustainable productivity.
Each workshop is tailored to the needs of the creative community or industry context, recognising that the pressures experienced by musicians, writers, visual artists, performers and screen practitioners are often distinct. Participants leave with renewed clarity, practical tools and a sustainable framework for protecting both their imagination and their mental health.
Light refreshments will be provided.
The session will conclude with an opportunity to connect and network with fellow attendees, alongside representatives from Arts OutWest and Support Act.
Presented by Support Act, Arts OutWest, Jam Orange & Orange City Bowling Club
