About this Event
This year, Creative Manchester’s creative health and social care symposium focuses on arts and creative practices developed by various regional organisations. Come and hear from researchers and practitioners in the field who will talk about and demonstrate some of their projects focused on creativity and arts with young people, adults, people who draw upon care services, providers and researchers committed to participatory approaches for social care.
Cartwheel Arts will be running a Happy Place activity - As people involved in caring for others, we can sometimes forget that we need to take care of ourselves, too. This workshop will be an opportunity to pause, breathe and take some time to reflect on what uplifts you. We will use collage to create a personal hidden happy place, that you can enter whenever you need.
Lunch will be provided for all attendees, with plant-based options available.
Accessibility If you have particular access or dietary needs, please let us know in advance by providing details when registering for your ticket or by emailing [email protected]
