Let your creativity shine in this fun and hands-on decorative arts workshop designed just for tweens and teens! creators will explore the art of modern decoupage and decorative painting while transforming everyday objects into beautiful, personalized pieces.
Each creator will choose a base item such as a trinket dish, vase, bowl, or other decorative piece and then combine paint, patterned papers, and layering techniques to create a one-of-a-kind design. Along the way, creators will learn the basics of decoupage, painting techniques, sealing finishes, and how to combine colors and patterns for a polished look. Step-by-step instruction and individual guidance ensure that every creator can create something they’re proud of.
All materials are included, and creators will leave with a finished decorative piece to take home.
Creative Hangouts are relaxed, social experiences designed for tweens and teens who enjoy creating and connecting with others. These activities are generally geared toward ages 11 and up, but we trust parents to decide what’s the best fit for their child.
Workshop and activity tickets are first come, first served, and space is limited—so be sure to grab your spot early! You can purchase (or register for free) tickets through our website using the link below. Please register in advance for free offerings so we can prepare supplies and save your seat!
