Discover the fun of improvisation!
Looking for a fun, creative activity for your child this term?
Our Term Four Creative Drama Classes will focus on improvisation – a great way to build theatre skills, confidence and teamwork while discovering how each student’s unique personality, ideas and sense of humour contribute to the group.
Improvisation encourages students to think on their feet, experiment with ideas, make each other laugh and create something together. It also helps them develop trust in their own abilities and offers a welcome opportunity to unwind during the busy final term of the school year.
Best of all, there’s no script to learn, no reading and no preparation needed at home! Students can simply turn up, join in and enjoy being creative.

📅 Term Four details
Cost: $115 for the nine-week term
Class times: 4:00–5:15 p.m.

🎭 End-of-term presentations
The final class of the term includes a short presentation of some of the work the students have explored.
Drama 1: Tuesday 8 December, 4:00 p.m.
Drama 2: Wednesday 9 December, 4:00 p.m.
Drama 3: Thursday 10 December, 4:00 p.m.
These presentations give students a chance to share their work and celebrate what they’ve been learning.

🎭 What will students learn?
Throughout the year, our classes explore a wide range of theatrical skills, with different emphases according to each class level. Topics include:
* Teamwork, communication and imagination
* Improvisation, mime and movement
* Voice production and performance skills
* Characterisation and character background
* Stagecraft and script study
* Theatre terminology, theatre history and the people involved in putting on a production
Our classes are both constructive and enjoyable. There’s plenty of room for play, creativity and laughter, alongside the focus and effort needed to develop new skills. After all, “There ain’t no such thing as a free lunch!”
