About this Event
Join us for some soul-stirring inspiration to awaken your creative spirit while spending time in nature and with horses. Gift yourself the self-care, joy, and connection you deserve for your own health and well-being.
The goal at Colby’s Army is to make equine activities more accessible to the public. Our Equine Assisted Learning Programs provide ground-based (no riding) experiential learning opportunities for everyone to engage with horses for enjoyment, inspiration, and personal growth.
NOTE: This is a two-part workshop occurring on November 15 and 22. The second session is intended to build on the first session. While we encourage everyone to attend both sessions, participants can register for a single session if desired.
Each session is $45, with a $10 discount for attending two sessions for $80.

WHAT IS IT:
Creativity isn’t just self-expression, it’s self-care. What do the horses add? Horses are a natural facilitator in bringing us into the present moment, for greater awareness of ourselves and of our environment. Activities with the horses help you get centered and grounded, to lessen stress levels and internal noise, and awaken your passions. You’ll find opportunities that:
- Create an experience that invites connection with self, others, the horse, and your creative spirit. Includes guided activities with the horses by an equine specialist and guided art projects by an art educator.
- Tap into your authentic and deepest self to reveal true words and meaning
- Open your heart up to what inspires you, fuels your imagination
- Express what comes up through various forms of media and techniques (including drawing, painting with watercolor and acrylics, and even journaling)
- Ask questions and find new answers to the support you need
- Bring Joy and passion into your world
- You may be surprised at what you discover and what you create!
Art activities will include drawing and painting (watercolor and acrylic) on various media, and journaling.
