Join us in celebrating Co, Kris Hipps, and Carrie Frederich at the Creative Community Leaders Capstone Celebration on Friday, February 20, at the Winona County Historical Society (160 E Johnson St.). This special evening showcases the creative mini-projects they’ve led in our community as part of Engage Winona’s Creative Community Leaders cohort, part of the Lived Experience Leaders program. From photography curation to movement for connection, and zines exploring sandlot baseball and community connection, each artist has much to reflect on and celebrate.
Doors open at 5 p.m. with light refreshments, followed by a short program at 5:30 p.m. where Co, Kris, and Carrie will share what they created—and what they learned along the way—before sticking around to connect and celebrate. Free, all ages welcome. We’d love to see you there!
This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Southeastern Minnesota Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
