We are delighted to be supported by the Leicester Create Growth Programme for our first Autumn event! Aimed at driving innovation and growth within the creative industry it's a perfect fit for Creative Coffee.

Join us for an inspiring conversation about the 'power of networks' for business growth within the creative industries.

How focussed are you on maintaining and growing your local business connections? And how much further afield do you look (and venture!)? How much do you recognise networking as a tool for business growth?

We'll look at all of these questions during an interactive session, and will be joined by Professor Rachel Granger (professor of creative business and economic development at Leicester Castle Business School, and Research Director for DMU's Institute for Responsible Business) & Tamily Cookson (founder of Collective - for creative & digital innovators, and previously CEO of The Creative Quarter Nottingham).

Rachel will challenge our thinking about business growth and explore opportunities the Create Growth agenda presents. And Tamily will walk us through the power of connection hidden within our networks, City wide and regionally.

We will of course also have the usual opportunity to network with fellow attendees to enjoy sharing what's going on in each others creative worlds!

With the foundation of your local business connections firmly in hand, what efforts do you make to venture further afield? Not digitially (that's too easy!), but physically taking yourself outside of your usual geographical boundary to connect with a new audience?

Tamily will share her recent experience of setting up 'Collective' an East Midlands hub for Creative & Digital Innovators and help us explore the benefits of adding some distance to your networking.
