Creative Clay Camp Week 1

This is a TWO-DAY workshop.

• Friday, June 26th from 9 AM - 11:30 AM

Join us for our first week of Creative Clay Camp! Kids will learn all about pottery, clay, and creativity with Mine from Blue Fern Ceramics. This week, we will be creating some cute one-of-a-kind dishes, alongside some miniature versions of interests and favorites. Molds will be available, so kids can create their own basketballs, butterflies, fruit, etc. to add to their creations!

Day 1: Learn about pottery and clay making. Kids will create their own trinket dishes using clay. With their favorite activities, foods, and animals in mind, we will create small clay versions of whatever they please to add to the outer rims of their plates!

Day 2: Kids will paint their dishes with colorful underglazes so that our instructor can fire them in her kiln.

Pieces will be available for pickup a week/two weeks after the class. It will be ready to use as a trinket dish, food plate, or whatever seems right!
