Join in this unique open mic event to share your creative gifts in community and receive supportive feedback in the way you want to receive it. Do you sing?
Play an instrument?
Write poetry?
Dance?
Paint?
Make cookies?
Any creative form is welcome and invited!
Robin Lee Berry and Linda Hammond will be the guest emcees this month and will offer their gifts of music, singing and storytelling throughout the evening. Everyone is invited to come and share as well.
Come as you are, all are welcome: people of all sizes, shapes, ages and abilities – no prior experience is needed.
Registration is appreciated and drop ins are welcome!
Free for all thanks to the Petoskey Public Library's sponsorship.
Doors open at 6:30 for refreshments and mingling and the open mic will start at 7pm.
If you would like to receive feedback you can specify what kind of feedback you would like to receive before you share and folks can choose to offer that to you during the break or at the end of the evening.
Refreshments will be available for sale until they sell out.

Robin Lee Barry is a seasoned performer sharing uplifting and passionate original music. “A voice gushing from a clear well deep in the earth.” (Greg Brown) A bit jazzy, a bit Joni-y, strong and clear, soaring over hot guitar work, her songs are raw to the bone and a breath of fresh air…a trip into the center of your heart. She has created 7 independent recordings and added her cut “Hey, Baby, Hey” to “Going Driftless~an artists tribute to Greg Brown. She was recently involved in creating the theme song “Gone Wild” for the Hemingway indi-docu film “Young Hemingway-The Path to Paris.” and created this video: Vote~Northstar/Speak-a on YouTube. Linda Hammond is a talented singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, covering many genres of Americana music and passionate and well versed in Irish traditional tunes. She shares her beautiful original songs, bringing people together in inspiring and uplifting musical combinations that engage her audiences and is a fantastic harmonizer.
