Join in this unique open mic event to share your creative gifts in community and receive supportive feedback in the way you want to receive it.

Any creative form is welcome and invited!

Charlie Millard and Benjamin Cheney will be the hosts this month and will offer their gifts of music and movement throughout the evening. Everyone is invited to come and share as well.
Registration is appreciated and drop ins are welcome!
Come as you are, all are welcome: people of all sizes, shapes, ages and abilities – no prior experience is needed.
Entrance by donation ($10-$20 is suggested and no one turned away for lack of funds)
Doors open at 6:30 for refreshments and mingling and the open mic will start at 7pm. At the end of the evening there will be facilitated small groups to support those who shared to receive feedback in the way that would feel best to them. This is an optional space to connect with those who attended.
Refreshments will be available for sale until they sell out.

Co-Hosts:
Charlie Millard is from Michigan’s northern lower peninsula. Charlie has developed a unique sound and voice, like small movies for the ears. He has performed at festivals and venues across the Midwest and Canada with his trio, the Charlie Millard Band, since he was 14. Benjamin Cheney is a local Northern Michigan dancer, designer, and somatic practitioner. He is the founder and Artistic Director of the Croft Residency, which provides movement artists a refuge in nature and a platform to explore their creative process with the local community.
