Origami Decoration fundraising workshop, helping us to raise funds to help support the work we do here at The Bureau.
Join artist Sue Auty for a creative afternoon of paper folding fun, making some beautiful paper decorations using the oriental art of origami.
Origami is a very mindful process. It gives the opportunity to focus, and reconnect with your innate capacity to create beautiful things in a simple and accessible way.
Sue will demonstrate and give step by step guidance throughout the session. The decorations are made from sections of folded paper that are repeated and then pieced together. There is flexibility in terms of level of difficulty and even if you don't finish a whole cube you still take away a lovely thing.
All materials will be provided, including lots of gorgeous Japanese patterns to help inspire you!
Suitable for age 8 upwards.
The Cafe will be open 11am- 3pm for teas, coffees and home made cakes.
Please use the accessible entrance to the rear of the building.
