Creative Business Photography Day

Photography is essential for your business's social media and online presence. Yet, if you're unsure of how to take interesting, good quality photographs, then you will struggle to capture your audience's imagination. That's where Start Up Greenwich's Creative Business Photography Day comes into play!

Split into two parts, this event will allow you to learn how to use your smartphones to take the great pictures for your business, and come away with a FREE professional headshot too. The day will start with a 'Using Your Smartphone for Smart Business Photography' workshop, facilitated by Mike Jelves, who will show you:

• Rules of good photography
• Basic set-up of your smartphone camera
• Practical product photography
• Practical people photography
• Essential editing tips

Bring your products if you're able!

After which, professional photographer, Warren King, will be providing FREE headshot sessions in his pop-up studio. In the session, you will receive direction to look your most professional and approachable and also given advice on the choice you make for your final image. You will be sent a digital file optimised for use on the web, social media and specifically LinkedIn afterwards.

Mike Jelves has been a professional creative, corporate and commercial filmmaker for two decades. As well as producing visual content for local and multinational organisations, he has extensive experience in delivering skills training to help people unlock their potential and express their creativity.

Warren King has been a professional photographer for the last 25 years and he has a studio at Thames-side Studios in Woolwich. He shoots headshots, portraits and brand/marketing images for individual business people and companies.
