Participants will be able to:

· Discuss the importance of using music and movement in the early childhood classroom for teaching social skills, language and literacy, and early learning concepts.

· Review strategies for presenting music, movement and drama to children of various ages from one to five in developmentally appropriate ways.

· Practice using music, movement and drama with young children through a lesson plan designed to support children’s emergent developmental skill
