About this Event
Creative Aging: Take Photos With Your Mobile Like a Pro
Nowadays everyone is using their phones to take pictures, we document almost every single second of our lives. Since the last decade, people created more images than all images were created in the first 200 years of photography. However, quantity does not necessarily mean quality, and many people blame their tools for poor results.
The reality is only two small secrets you need to know:
1.) Know your tool
2.) Think before you shoot
At this workshop, we aim to show you just how much you can achieve with only your smartphone’s camera by learning its full abilities and taking your creativity to the next level.
In this workshop, you will
- Learn about your smartphone’s camera’s abilities and features (as well as limitations)
- Gain the knowledge of some really practical tips to help immediately improve your photos
- Learn how to easily control focus, exposure, and depth of field
- Find out how you can use some easy creative techniques to create the best photos
- Learn about composition rules, and how to break them
What’s in this workshop?
In the first part during an interactive session, you learn about your phone’s abilities (and limitations), compositional techniques, and creative tips to capture better images.
In the second part, we encourage you to unleash your creativity, through small assignments and go for an accompanied ‘walkabout’ with opportunities for shooting indoor and/or outdoor activities and landscapes.
In the third part we are going to go over all participants' photos and together we will analyze them, so you are immediately going to be able to see your results.
