Creative Abundance Multi-Media Presentation

This session will showcase the philosophy and practices of the Creative Abundance Model, the guiding framework for Passion Works Studio in Athens, OH, Studio 190 in Walton, NY, Greenlight Studio in Greencastle, IN, and the ARC of Wabash in Wabash, IN. Participants will explore how to amplify individual and community assets through an artistic process of “structure and surrender,” leverage a social enterprise approach to product research and development, and support cottage industry employment.

Organizations using the Creative Abundance Model follow the aesthetic lead, talents, and interests of people with developmental differences. There are studios across the US who committed to fostering inclusive communities through collaborative making, artistically upcycling materials, and growing creative economies. Learn how you can create one too!

Participants will be invited to visit the new ARC of WABASH COUNTY art studio at the end of day.
