About this Event

This FREE workshop is for event producers, venue managers, and event vendors seeking to meet the City and County of San Francisco’s zero waste requirements for permitted events.

Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with other event producers, Recology, event greeners, reusable cup service providers, and zero waste event vendors.

Topics covered:

• Acquiring composting and recycling services

• Edible food recovery and donation (SB-1383)

• Event greening services and vendors

• Recyclable vs. compostable foodware

• Packaged water ban and hydration stations

• Reusable cup requirements, promotion, and rental strategies

• Zero waste event planning and submission
