It may feel as if our lives are stuck, but in fact, we can change things. How? Because the way we experience the world depends entirely on our states of mind. Positive mindsets create a world of possibilities. Negative minds make us experience the world as a difficult and sometimes even hostile place.
Buddha’s wisdom teachings on the nature of reality help us to understand that when we change our mind we literally change our world. In particular, understanding the powerful interplay between karma and reality, between how things appear and how they actually are, frees us from old painful habits. Instead, we discover the freedom and skill to create the very best life we want.
Join us for this half-day retreat in which Cindy Parker, Resident Teacher of KMC South Carolina, will guide us towards this understanding through teachings, guided meditations and discussion.
